That was the menu served on the last New Year’s Eve; Jerez’s consomme, vol-au-vent of shellfish with prawns, and beef fillet steak with mushrooms and potatoes. There were twelve grapes too because in Spain at midnight on New Year’s Eve, is traditional to listen to the clock and each time the clock chimes, everybody puts a grape in their mouth and they celebrate the New Year. The dinner was delicious! Vall Hebron Hospital, Barcelona (Spain)
